Black Friday

Hi, everyone! Sera here. Does it count as Black Friday* if the lady came out all dressed in black today? She had on a black coat with a black scarf and black leggings and black sneakers. She fed me some peanuts, and then she drove off with the big, bearded man. When she came back, she was alone. She took my picture several times, and then she said, “Just a minute,” and went into the house. When she came out, boy, oh, boy, did those treats look good! She had two cups in her hands. One cup was filled with bird seed and yummy, scrumptious peanuts!! The other cup was filled with Critter Crunch!! She fed me and the sparrows and took a few more pictures. We are enjoying our Black Friday brunch bargains right now!!!

*Editor’s NOTE: Black Friday is the Friday following Thanksgiving Day in the United States, often regarded as the beginning of the Christmas shopping season. In recent years, most major retailers have opened extremely early and offered promotional sales to kick off the holiday shopping season, similar to Boxing Day sales in many Commonwealth Nations (Wikipedia.org).
